KGF Chapter 2 Prashanth Neel is in big demand these days and the good news is that leading production banners are ready to team him up with South Indian superstars for churning out blockbusters. Currently, the director is busy shooting Salaar with Prabhas and Shruti Haasan.
The latest news is that Mythri Movie Makers have hired Prashanth Neel for directing their next movie with NTR. While the storyline, star cast, and related details are yet to be finalized, the team of NTR and Neel will be doing a movie soon as the latter completes the shooting climax for SS Rajamouli's RRR.
Deals in Crores For Prashanth Neel Directed KGF Chapter 2
The unexpected massive success of KGF: Chapter 1 has escalated expectations from the sequel. Importantly, the movie is one of the much-awaited releases this year after it was delayed last year due to the corona pandemic. Now reports suggest that this overwhelming hype and anticipation is working in the favor of the producers who are reportedly demanding a huge amount for its overseas rights from the distributors.
The latest reports say that the makers are demanding Rs.80 crores for the overseas distribution rights of KGF Chapter 2. Incidentally, they are eying a target above Rs.70 crores which is the overseas distribution price quoted by the makers of SS Rajamouli's RRR.
The canvas of the sequel is much bigger than the first movie from the franchise as big Bollywood names like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon have also been roped in to give it a pan India appeal. The teaser of the movie has already crossed millions of views.
KGF Chapter 2 will release in theaters on 16th July and is expected to be a gamechanger for Yash aka Rockybhai.
