As the date for the release of Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2's teaser is nearing, anticipation among fans is escalating. Fueling up their excitement, filmmaker Prashanth Neel on Monday released a poster of the movie and reminded about the teaser release date and time.
Prashant took to Twitter to remind fans that the countdown for the teaser has started: "The countdown to the opening of the empire door begins now! #KGFChapter2TeaserOnJan8 at 10:18 AM on @hombalefilms"

The first installment of Yash-starrer KGF broke several records in 2018. The KGF-Chapter 1 was much appreciated by all and the anticipation for KGF-Chapter 2 which also stars Sanjay Dutt as the Antagonist- Adheera and Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen among other prominent characters is increasing day by day.
Fans and admirers are waiting eagerly to take the first glance of the most-awaited movie soon after the director announced the dates of the movie's teaser release. With each passing day, excitement among all is skyrocketing.
Teaser release of KGF Chapter 2 has been scheduled for January 8, 2021 which is Rocking Star Yash’s birthday. Fans will be able to witness 'opening of the empire door' on the said date at 10.18 am on You Tube channel of Hombale films.
Earlier in an interview, Director Prashanth busted the rumours of KGF Chapter 3 that were doing rounds on different platforms. The director cleared the air that Chapter 2 will mark the end of the series.
Reportedly the shoot of the film has reached its last schedule. The makers are finally wrapping it up.
"Yash has been shooting for the climax for quite a while now. The last schedule was planned around the New Year," informed a source.
The shooting of the sequel came to a halt last year due to the pandemic and later resumed in October. Earlier the film was scheduled to release towards the end of 2020 but got delayed a number of times.
KGF Chapter 2 will resume from where it left. Yash aka 'Rocky Bhai' will be seen facing a powerful antagonist in the sequel, which is played by Sanjay Dutt.
