Why Tejasswi Fell for Karan?

In a candid conversation on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s YouTube channel, Bharti TV, Tejasswi opened up about the real reason their marriage didn’t happen immediately after the show.

When Bharti asked Tejasswi what she cherished the most about Karan, the actress revealed that it was his honesty and emotional openness. She admired how he expressed his feelings for her on Weekend Ka Vaar, even before he knew whether she felt the same. That sincerity, she said, won her heart. 

Tejasswi’s Mother Hit the Pause Button!

Tejasswi shared that her mother surprisingly liked Karan right away, something she hadn’t expected. But despite the approval, it was her mother who put a halt to their immediate marriage plans.

Tejasswi said, “Karan was like, ‘Let’s get married,’ but my mother said, ‘You’ve just come out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend a year together in the real world. It’s not that I doubt you (Karan), but I don’t even know my daughter. I feel both of you need some time.’ I am very chanchal—if I fall in love, I’m like, ‘This is the one.’ So my mother said, ‘Take your time.’”

Her mother’s advice stemmed from wanting both of them to experience life outside the reality-show bubble before making such a big commitment.
