Kalki as Daayan in Vishal Bharadwaj next

Earlier, both Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan were offered the role, but they reportedly turned it down. "My next film is `Daayan` of Vishal Bharadwaj. It is a supernatural mystery..it is kind of a magical film. It is not a horror film. I can`t talk much about it," Kalki told reporters here, Wednesday evening on the sidelines of the launch of a new collection of handbags here.

Though `That Girl in Yellow Boots` star is working with Vishal for the first time, she is all praise for the filmmaker. "Vishalji is amazing and talented person. He is not only a director, a music composer, writer..he can do everything. It is fantastic to work with him. I am big fan of him and have liked all his films like `Maqbool`, `Omkara`, `Kaminey`," Kalki said.
