Siddharth Anand is known for making high-action drama movies. Be it Bang Bang, War, or Pathaan, the director has carved a niche for himself as one of the topmost action directors in Bollywood. However, his last release Fighter which had a dream pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone failed to impress the audience.

The movie with the Indian Air Force as the backdrop could not make an impact as was expected. Instead of accepting his failure Siddharth Anand blamed the Indian audience majority of whom were not yet acquainted with traveling by air. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s movie that released recently is also based on almost the same subject with a few changes here and there.

As expected, comparisons are being made between Skyforce and Fighter. While most of the open-minded directors and actors will not mind as comparisons and reviews are normal in Bollywood, it seems Siddharth has not taken it in the right way.

His recent reaction on his official X account shows that the famous director believes that his work is incomparable and there can be no comparison between Fighter and Skyforce. In his tweet, the director wrote, “Hahahaha!! Insecurity hits new lows! I feel so important today! Have faith in your own self! Come on yo!! An old saying - By blowing off another candle, won’t make yours burn brighter! But alas…”

His statement has not gone down well with web users who believe that even the candle of Fighter could not produce the glow the way it was expected. A user wrote, “Fighter was garbage. And skyforce will be worse. There is no need for debates lol” whereas another user slammed Siddharth Anand by saying, “This is a clown to clown fight.”

A few users with logical heads questioned how someone could comment even before watching the movie. Irrespective of all this debate, neither Skyforce nor Fighter has been able to meet the expectations so there is no reason why Siddharth Anand should take offense even if a comparison is being made.
