Jaipur: The Rajasthan Government will confer `Rajasthan Ratna` on late Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh and renowned Mohan Veena player Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt.

The other awardees, announced by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas on Friday, include late K L Setia and Vijaydan Detha for Rajasthani literature and culture, late Komal Kothari (folk art), late Allah Jilai Bai (folk singing) and author Laxmi Kumari Chundawat.

The Government announced that five personalities will be awarded with `Rajasthan Ratna` in the field of art, literature and culture every year.
