Indian Idol 12: Show Slammed For Being Unfair After Nachiket Lele’s Elimination

Indian Idol 12 had some amazing set of contestants this year who have kept the viewers hooked to their screens. With Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya as judges, the much-awaited finale of Indian Idol 12 is inching closer. However, the show has been landing into a number of controversies, the recent one following after the elimination of Nachiket Lele.

In the last episode,  Nachiket Lele, Sawai Bhatt, and Mohammad Danish were in the bottom three and unfortunately, Nachiket had to bid goodbye to the show. After his elimination was announced for receiving the least number of votes, viewers and fans were unhappy with the results. While some called the judges' biases, others blamed the show for being fixed to make Sawai Bhatt the winner.

The channel also tweeted the results of Indian Idol 12 saying “We're going to miss you #IdolNachiket! Share your love for this talented artist in the tweets and tell him how much we love him! #IndianIdol2020 @iAmNehaKakkar @VishalDadlani #HimeshReshammiya #AdityaNarayan @FremantleIndia @Nachiketlele1”

To this fans and viewers expressed their shock and requested the makers to bring him back. Judge Vishal Dadlani tried to calm them by writing, "Unfortunately, we have no choice to lose a gem at every elimination. Every show is finite. We are lucky to have so many contestants each of whom deserves to win their own show. The sad part is, this "luck" comes with the misfortune of watching eliminations & feeling that loss.”

However, the fans kept on flooding the platform to share their disappointment with Indian Idol 12. This is not the first time; the show is being accused of being biased towards certain contestants. Earlier, the fans pointed out that the judges are being lenient towards Sawai Bhatt and he is already the winner as fixed by the makers.
