An injured sub-adult leopard has been rescued from a forest in the Dasapalla area. The injured big cat is presently undergoing treatment at the Nandankanan’s veterinary hospital.
As per reports, the injured leopard was moving in the jungle. As it had injuries in its hind legs, it was somehow dragging itself with its front legs. After coming to know about this, the Chandaka Division’s rapid response team and a team of the Mahanadi Wildlife Division rushed to the spot and rescued the injured animal.

Thereafter, the animal was brought to the veterinary hospital of Nandankanan where experts from the OUAT and the hospital provided treatment.
