Mumbai: Actor John Abraham who has delivered hits like `Garam Masala` and `Dostana` and `Dhoom` with Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan during his eight-year career in Bollywood, does not feel any sense of competition from these co-stars.

"There is a lot of professional competitiveness and there should be one. I am very close to Abhishek.. Akshay.. do not compete with them. I have worked with them in different films but we do not compete, we compliment each other. That`s the beauty," John told PTI in an interview.

"Today there are ten-eleven actors in the industry... so many films are made every year and there is enough space and films available for every actor. So I believe in relaxing and not worrying what work others are doing... just focus on your work and be happy. I do believe there is a sense of competition but if you want to allow it to enter your brain then only otherwise just enjoy," he said.

John and Akshay had teamed up for Priyadarshan`s `Garam Masala` (2005). The film was a hit and both the actors were appreciated, but surprisingly they did not receive any offer for doing a film together for a long time. Now, the duo would be seen in Rohit Dhawan`s yet-to-be released film `Desi Boyz`. Also, they would share screen space in Sajid Khan`s `Housefull 2`, that releases next year.

John also worked with Abhishek in Karan Johar`s `Dostana`. Their chemistry was very much appreciated and the film went on to become one of the highest grossing films at the box office in 2008. They had came together in Aditya Chopra`s `Dhoom`, which was also a hit. John has been in the industry since 2003, but the 38-year-old actor has no `good friends` in the industry and does not belong to any camp.

"For me friendship is like when I can call someone in the middle of the night and tell them that there is some problem in my life and help me..there are no friends over here (Bollywood) like this. But I am very close to Abhishek, Akshay, Sanju (Sanjay Gupta)... these are people with whom I can chat and meet them once a while. But do I call them up every day- No," John said.

"In the definition of what is called camp I don`t belong to any camp. As I do not hang around with anyone I do not go for party, I don`t drink and I can`t listen to loud music so I have certain issues," he said. In Rohit Dhawan`s, `Desi Boyz`, John essays the role of a male escort. He would be starring opposite Deepika Padukone in the film that releases on December 25.
