Mumbai: Actor Shahid Kapoor, who is not seen on the silver screen often, said that he wants to do more films.

"There are three films that I have signed, which I mentioned to you earlier. The first one is Maneesh Sharma`s film, which I will begin in August and finish by November. After that I will do Prabhu Deva`s film in February and then Bejoy Nambiar`s film, which will start next year," Shahid told reporters here at an event.

"There are various other films that I am considering. I have decided to work more often. I have been told that I work very little and I also feel it myself," he said.

Though producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed signing Shahid for a film to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the actor denied it. "Yes Raj and I met, but I haven`t signed the film as of now," he said.

After `Mausam` and `Teri Meri Kahani` failed to click, Shahid has not had a good run at the box office. "Honestly, I do films from my heart. I have been doing this and I would like it to continue that way. I will do films regardless of whether they do well or not, because eventually, nobody knows what is going to happen. One just needs to believe, be passionate about the film and work," he said.
