On December 4, 2024, the premiere of Pushpa 2 at the popular Sandhya Theatre in RTC X Roads turned into chaos when an unexpectedly large crowd surged, leading to a deadly stampede. The event, which was eagerly awaited by fans, ended in tragedy as the woman lost her life and her son suffered severe injuries.

The 100-page chargesheet, filed by the Chikkadpally Police, names several individuals responsible for the lack of proper crowd management and safety measures. Allu Arjun, who was present at the event, has been named as Accused No. 11 (A-11). Additionally, members of his security team and representatives from the film's production house are also listed as accused.
