Mumbai: The makers of Akshay Kumar-starrer `Housefull-2` have reconstructed the famous Burglhey Palace in London at a studio in Mumbai for the film. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has spent Rs five crore to recreate the set for the climax of `Housefull 2` and a song that will be shot in the interiors.

"I do not believe in compromising on the aesthetics and visuals that is required for a film. We have spent Rs five crore to reconstruct the Burglhey Palace," Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said. The first schedule of `Housefull 2` was completed in London and the second schedule was supposed to begin from late October.

The Palace has been recreated at the Filmistan Studios in Mumbai. Earlier, Nadiadwala had created an entire town for his film `Mujhse Shaadi Karogi`.

"The set is unbelievably real. I feel I am inside the UK castle. The reason behind putting up a set here was that the action and pyrotechnics required for the film was obviously forbidden in the real castle, as it is a heritage monument," director of the film Sajid Khan said.

`Housefull 2` is a sequel to the super hit comic caper `Housefull`, which was reportedly made with a budget of Rs 45 crore, while it earned over Rs 98 crore at the box office.

The ensemble cast of `Housefull 2` include Akshay Kumar, Asin Thottumkal, John Abhraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Mithun Chakraborty, Boman Irani, Malaika Arora Khan and others. The film will release in April next year.
