With “Kabir Singh” Shahid Kapoor has entered the elite club of superstars with a legacy of 100 crore movies behind. Of course, “Padmavat” also was a big hit but the credit went to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. This time around Sasha was the lone highlight of the movie with his co-star Kiara Advani still struggling to gain a strong foothold in Bollywood. That is why the “R..Rajkumar” actor was given maximum credit for the success of “Kabir Singh.”
And who would not love to repeat the same feat with every movie? Shahid Kapoor too wants to have another replay of “Kabir Singh.” But when his long-time independent manager Aakanksha decided to quit, he had to start hunting for a new associate who would handle his new work.
Shahid Ropes In The Manager At Top Level
After going into a frenzy hunting down one of the topmost managers for himself to manage his upcoming biggies, Shahid has now hired Matrix’s Reshma Shetty who also has accounts of big stars like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Akshay Kumar.
Earlier gossip mills churned out that Shahid was not in the mood to sign another remake. But post appointment of Reshma, the father of two lovely kids has signed for “Jersey” which is also a remake to be directed by Gowthan Tinnanuri who has also directed the original version.
More importantly, Shahid Kapoor has been offered a whopping Rs.35 crore for the flick which is quite a leap from what the “Vivah” actor used to get before “Kabir Singh.” It can be the result of his latest blockbuster movie or the clouts that Reshma has in the film industry that have helped Shahid attract such a lucrative package for his next venture.
If changing a manager can work such wonders for Shahid Kapoor then he should really follow the advice of this girl Reshma and surely Mira Rajput will also never mind.
