The film will release on the 150th birth anniversary of the Nobel-laureate, on May 6, as a tribute, as it is based on one of Tagore`s own stories.
The film`s Hindi version is called `Kashmakash`.
Gulzar, an acclaimed poet himself, is well-versed with Bengali. He was impressed with the Bengali version of `Nouka Dubi` and readily accepted the offer to pen the lyrics for Hindi version, sources said.
Shreya Ghosal would be singing the songs in both Bengali and Hindi versions.
