Gopichand joins Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’: Reports

If reports are to be believed, Tollywood mass hero Gopichand has reportedly joined the cast of pan-India star Prabhas much-anticipated film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Though there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet, industry buzz suggests that Gopichand has been finalised for a key role in the film.

Second Collaboration After 'Varsham'

If the reports are true, then this will be the second time the two stars will be working together after the blockbuster success of their first film together ‘Varsham’. The development has generated significant excitement among fans, as Prabhas and Gopichand share a strong off-screen friendship and camaraderie.

The prospect of seeing the two actors together on the big screen has further raised expectations around the project. Sources indicate that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, best known for his blockbuster films Kabir Singh and Animal, personally finalised Gopichand for the role.

Meanwhile, the makers of Spirit have officially locked the film’s theatrical release date. Starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri in lead roles, the film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on March 5, 2027. The announcement has ended months of speculation surrounding the film’s release timeline and sent fans into celebration mode across social media platforms.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga, Spirit boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Apart from Prabhas, Triptii Dimri, and the reportedly confirmed Gopichand, the film also stars Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and Kanchana in pivotal roles.

With its bold visuals, intense narrative style, and a director known for gritty storytelling, Spirit is already shaping up to be one of the biggest pan-India cinematic events of 2027.
