She later appeared in Shor in the City, the popular TV show Ladies Special, and most recently featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan.

Born on December 27, 1987, in Nagpur, Girija is the daughter of veteran Marathi actor Girish Oak and Padmashree Phatak. Married to filmmaker Suhrud Godbole, she holds a biotechnology degree and has also studied business management — before following her passion for performance arts.

Her Marathi films like Gulmohar, Lajja, and Navra Maza Bhavra earned her critical acclaim, and she continues to command attention with every appearance. With her grace, talent, and now-viral charm, Girija Oak has firmly secured her place as one of the internet’s most beloved personalities today.
