Faris stars opposite Sacha B. Cohen in The Dictator

(image) Los Angeles: Anna Faris is in negotiations to play the female lead opposite Sacha Baron Cohen in `The Dictator`.

Larry Charles, who directed `Borat`, is back as the director of the movie, which has been described as "the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed."

Cohen is said to play dual roles of a goat herder and a deposed foreign ruler who gets lost in the US.

Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas are also in the movie, playing fellows from the Middle East, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Faris will play the owner of a Whole Foods-style store in New York.

The movie is being done in a similar manner as `Borat` in the sense that Cohen and his team are looking for people with very strong improvisational skills.

The movie is aiming to start June 5 in New York and Spain.
