Double joy for the Konidelas: Ram Charan & Upasana welcome twins, embrace parenthood with purpose

Celebrations swept through the Konidela household as actor Ram Charan and entrepreneur Upasana Konidela welcomed twins - a baby boy and girl - late on Saturday night. With the arrival of the newborns, the couple’s family has now grown to five, marking a beautiful new chapter in their lives.

On Sunday morning, the couple shared their happiness in a heartfelt note, thanking fans, friends, and well-wishers who stood beside them through every milestone.

Ram Charan’s Gratitude

Overflowing with emotion, Ram Charan and Upasana expressed what the moment means to them as parents. 

In a joint statement on Instagram, Ram Charan and Upasana wrote, "Happy to share that we have been blessed with a baby boy & girl. Having two daughters and a son fills us with immense gratitude. The women in our life have been our greatest strength. I'm very thankful to all our fans, family and well-wishers who have stood by us and supported us through every moment." (sic)

The family has chosen to keep the babies’ names private for now.

A Journey Years in the Making

Ram Charan and Upasana tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their first child, daughter Klin Kaara, in 2023. Upasana has previously spoken about freezing her eggs in her 30s, a decision that later supported her second pregnancy - a step she described as empowering and thoughtfully planned.
