Dhurandhar fever grips Nick Jonas; Ranveer Singh calls him ‘jijuu’ after viral dance video

Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar continues to dominate conversations on social media ever since its theatrical release on December 5. 

While fans and celebrities across India have been raving about the film, its popularity has now crossed borders. Adding an international twist to the buzz, pop singer Nick Jonas has revealed that one of the film’s songs has become his go-to pre-show hype anthem.

Nick Jonas dances to ‘Shararat’

Nick Jonas, who is married to actor Priyanka Chopra, took to Instagram to share a short video of himself dancing to Shararat, a Hindi track from Dhurandhar. In the clip, Nick can be seen grooving energetically while his brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas join him in the background, clearly enjoying the moment.

Sharing the video, Nick captioned it, “New pre-show hype song unlocked.” The post instantly grabbed attention, with fans thrilled to see the global pop star vibing to a Bollywood number.

The peppy track Shararat is sung by Jasmine Sandlas and Madhubanti Bagchi, with music composed by Shashwat Sachdev. In the film, the song is picturised on Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza and has emerged as one of the most viral tracks of the year.

Ranveer Singh’s hilarious reaction

Ranveer Singh was quick to notice Nick’s post and dropped a hilarious comment in the comments section. Reacting to the video, the actor wrote, “Hahahahahaa JIJUUUU JAAANE DEEEEE,” along with laughing and red heart emojis.

Nick responded warmly to Ranveer’s comment, writing, “Bhai! Dhurandhar title track is up next! Love to you and the family! Let’s go!” The friendly exchange further delighted fans, who flooded the comments section with reactions like “National Jiju for a reason” and “Nick Jiju is living his moment.”
