The Mumbai-based actor has been taken into police custody following accusations of sexually assaulting his domestic worker. According to reports, the complainant- a 41-year-old woman - alleged that Khan maintained a physical relationship with her for nearly ten years under the promise of marriage.

The woman claimed they first met in 2015 and gradually grew close. She alleged that Khan assured her he would marry her and, based on this commitment, continued an intimate relationship at both her home and his residence in Versova.

However, when he later refused to fulfill his promise, she decided to approach the police.

Police Action and Case Transfer

Khan was arrested on Thursday by the Malvani Police and remains in custody. Officials stated that the alleged incidents initially occurred within Malvani jurisdiction, where the complainant resides. Although the complaint was first registered at Versova Police Station, the case was transferred to Malvani authorities through a zero FIR due to jurisdictional grounds.
