Calling the English critics snobbish and evil he has asked them to be fair and sensible to Dil Bechara.

The author of Half Girlfriend is ruthless in his tweets. He does not mince words as he targets the English critics saying, “Many excellent film critics on radio, YouTube and blogs but are not given as much importance as phony, la-di-da English speaking ones. The British left in 1947. Just FYI.”

He even warns these so-called phony critics that Sushant’s last film will release soon and everyone will be watching how these critics are going to behave. The author of One Indian Girl says, “Sushant's last film releases this week. I want to tell the snob and elitist critics right now, write sensibly. Don't act over smart. Don't write rubbish. Be fair and sensible. Don't try your dirty tricks. You have ruined enough lives. Now stop. We'll be watching.”

Nevertheless, the author is unstoppable in his onslaught on the English critics. He also blames the Indian celebrities as well as the people across the country for giving more value to something written in English than in the vernacular language. He asks the stars, “You make tens, maybe hundreds of crores. A country of a billion people loves you. Isn't that enough? Do you need validation from phony, English speaking evil critics, who caused mental health issues leading to a star's death? Stop patronizing them, please.”

Bhagat Hopes Sushant’s Death Do Not Kill Aspirations Of Indians
In a column published recently in a leading daily, the celebrated author penned, “It’s been over a month since the unfortunate suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. His death affected me. I knew him and had worked with him. What I did not expect was his death hitting millions of Indians so hard. His demise refuses to leave the public imagination.”
He believes that abusing some stars for Sushant’s death is not fair. However, he thinks that the reason death of the Kedarnath actor caused so much uproar is because it represents the death of Indian aspirations. Similar to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli, Sushant’s rise in Bollywood represented a new inspirational India. Chetan Bhagat worries whether the loss of Sushant will lead to Indian youth losing hope and aspiration.
