The famous YouTuber Carry Minati is all set to share screen space with Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. The young internet sensation will be seen with the B-town A-listers in Mayday which will also star Southern diva Rakul Preet Singh. Incidentally, the Singham actor is himself directing and producing this flick.
Confirming the same to Hindustan Times Minati aka Ajey Nagar said, "My brother/business head Deepak Char got a call from Kumar Mangat Pathak (Co-Producer at Devgn’s production company) and I have been meaning to align forces with them since a while now.”
Carry Minati To Play Himself in Mayday
The popular YouTuber is well known for sharing entertaining skits on YouTube and his followers simply love them. Importantly, the 21-year-old never wanted to be an actor or join Bollywood. But now that he has been offered the opportunity he would like to make the most of it.
Carry will be playing himself on Mayday. And that is the reason he agreed to join the movie as playing himself will be easier for him.
During his discussion with HT, the internet star revealed, "It has never been one of my interests. The main purpose of those skits was to entertain people. Currently, I don’t see myself going in that direction but yes I like to experience everything. I agreed to be a part of this film because I had to essay my own character (CarryMinati) and that comes very easily to me. I eat, breathe, sleep, and live my character every single day."
Talking about working with Devgn and Bachchan, he said that since he admires and looks up to these Bollywood stars he will try to learn a thing or two about acting from them.
