It’s official — BTS is set to make a highly anticipated comeback on March 20, 2026. The globally celebrated K-pop group will release their first full-length album, marking their first major musical project in nearly three years and nine months after the anthology album Proof, which was released in June 2022.

Members Confirm Comeback Through Heartfelt Messages
The comeback date was confirmed as BTS members shared handwritten New Year messages with fans, expressing gratitude and excitement for their return. Group leader RM wrote, “We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else,” while Jin thanked fans for their patience.
Suga shared, “Let’s have fun together this year too. I love you,” and J-Hope added, “What I thought has finally become reality!” Teasing an emotional reunion, Jimin wrote, “The year we meet has come,” while V promised fans many more memories in 2026. Jungkook concluded with a heartfelt note asking fans to continue supporting the group.
World Tour Plans After Album Release
Following the album’s release, BTS is expected to embark on a large-scale world tour. According to South Korean media reports, the tour may run from May to December 2026, featuring nearly 65 shows worldwide and attracting close to four million fans, with individual concerts hosting over 60,000 attendees.

J-Hope on the Emotional Reunion
Earlier, J-Hope spoke about BTS’ reunion on a popular variety show, admitting to feeling both anxious and excited about working together again after time apart. Formed by BigHit Entertainment in 2013, BTS continues to stand as one of the most influential musical acts in the world, and their 2026 comeback is set to be a global cultural moment.
