London: Singer Kelly Clarkson says her sad songs are not drawn from her personal experience. The `Mr. Know It All` hitmaker, who doesn`t mind being called the Breakup Anthem Queen, thinks songs about the end of relationships are "sassy".

"I love a feisty song. I like to be sassy. That`s usually a breakup song. It`s really in your face. I just end up writing it more that way because it`s better for mainstream radio.

"A lot of times, if I`m writing, a lot of people think that`s about a guy; it`s not actually about that. It`s more about my work environment. I write `metaphorically speaking` a lot. I actually haven`t dated in a while, so there`s no breakup song for me on there," she said.

Clarkson, 29, admits the pain of one particular breakup with a "loser guy" is still fresh in her mind. "I have been through one breakup that was real crappy. I think that`ll last me for a lifetime, so I`m good. He was just a really loser guy and that kind of whole situation. I don`t know what was wrong with me. I was never in love with him. We`re completely different. I don`t even know why," she added.
