A Shocking Exit and Strained Bonds

Hours before her exit, Malti had an intense altercation with her best friend Pranit. When he reached out for a hug as a final gesture of closure, she refused, declaring she would never forgive him. Amaal too faced the cold shoulder. Fans felt the heartbreak most when Pranit was seen crying alone in the bathroom area after she left.

When Pranit More 'Kicked' Malti

Addressing the incident, Malti explained her emotional state. “I have been telling Pranit for a long time about how Gaurav has been trying to manipulate him against me. And instead of listening to me, he would often roast me in front of him. And I really felt that annoying."

She recalled the moment everything escalated.

“On that day too, I was talking to Gaurav about something, who anyway doesn’t pick fights, just instigates people. Pranit came there and started fooling around with me, and after we playfully hit each other, he went ahead and kicked me, and I hurt my back. After that I was really angry, and while I had thought we’d talk about it in the evening, the eviction happened at the same time,” she said.

Boundaries, Hurt and Uncertainty

Malti admitted that physical aggression crossed a line for her, and she remains unsure whether she wants to fix the friendship.

“I have been bullied and tortured in the last two months, and it will take time to sort out my mind space,” she said.

A Complicated Friendship With Amaal Mallik

Her dynamic with Amaal stirred curiosity from the beginning- friendly familiarity soon turned into tension, cold shoulders and whispers behind backs.

Malti revealed, “I did know Amaal from before, and he’s a good guy. But when my brother (Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar) entered the house, he told me how he was backbiting about me. I was shocked and confronted him, and then things were better. But I don’t know what insecurities he had that he lied about even knowing me. And I felt bad about it. I was always dignified towards him, but he definitely had some fears.”

Were They More Than Friends?

Rumours about a romantic spark were inevitable, but Malti dismissed them. “No, it wasn’t. I had met him only a couple of months back, before the show. I didn’t really know him that well, and got to understand him better on the show. As for my father, he’s like my best friend, so I had mentioned meeting Amaal to him. We discussed his songs and all, but he doesn’t know him.”
