‘I Have a Big Phobia of Marriage’
In a candid conversation with Faridoon Shahryar, Farrhana opened up about her inhibitions regarding marriage. She admitted that the idea of marriage scares her deeply.
According to Farrhana, the fear stems from the possibility of giving her whole self to someone, only to later realise that the person may not support her growth or career. She also spoke about the emotional burden of being misunderstood due to her past, adding that these fears make her question whether she will ever get married.
A Traumatic Childhood Experience
Farrhana’s fear of marriage is rooted in her childhood. During an episode of Bigg Boss 19, she revealed that her parents separated after her father had an extramarital affair and married again. Her mother chose to walk away at a young age and never remarried.
Farrhana shared that she has never met her father and has only seen him in photographs, as her mother did not want her to meet him during ongoing legal cases.
Witnessing her mother’s painful experience left a lasting impact on Farrhana, making marriage feel like a frightening institution.
