Even after the finale, Bigg Boss 19 continues to generate headlines. Singer-composer Amaal Mallik, who finished among the top five contestants, has reacted strongly to fresh criticism linked to his stint on the show.
The controversy resurfaced after fans of fellow contestant Tanya Mittal demanded an apology over a remark Amaal made during the season.
Matters escalated when Amaal’s manager shared a post on social media urging users not to involve the singer’s family in online trolling. Instead of calming things down, the message triggered further backlash, with netizens insisting that Amaal issue a public apology once again.

“I Have Already Apologised,” Amaal said
Addressing the issue directly on X, Amaal said he had already apologised and saw no reason to keep revisiting the matter. In a strongly worded post, he stated that he had apologised personally and on social media not only to Tanya but also to other contestants for whatever had transpired inside the house.
He also pointed out that his first post after exiting the Bigg Boss house was in support of Tanya. Expressing anger over continued trolling, Amaal asked people to stop targeting his manager, team, family members, and friends who were not part of the show. His blunt language sparked mixed reactions online, with some backing his stand and others criticising the tone of his message.
Amaal Clarifies His Bond With Tanya
In the same post, Amaal clarified that his relationship with Tanya never went beyond friendship. He emphasised that stopping his own fans from becoming aggressive did not mean he would tolerate abuse from others. He also took a swipe at sections of Tanya’s fandom, accusing them of behaving like ‘sore losers’.
