The upcoming week is going to bring fluctuation in weather conditions as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted thunderstorm as well as hot and humid conditions in different parts of Odisha.
A yellow warning for thunderstorm has been issued for as many as 9 Odisha districts in the next 24 hours. Similarly, a yellow alert has also been issued by the IMD for several districts for hot and humid conditions as well.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Sundargarh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.06.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 03.06.2025)
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.06.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 04.06.2025)
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak.
