His popularity spanned the world for his stellar performance in the series. After Baahubali, Prabhas was seen in high-end action and thriller movie Saaho opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush.
Apart from these two flicks, fans are eyeing updates of Salaar to be helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. Salaar is an action thriller movie directed by Prashanth and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Salaar is a multilingual movie to be released pan India. The makers have released the first look of Prabhas in the movie in which he sports a moustache. As the director revealed, the Rebel star will be portraying a violent character in the action-packed movie. However, the female lead for the movie has not yet been announced by the makers. Following this, several rumours have been making rounds and fans have been speculating about the lead actress.
As per the latest buzz in the industry, the makers are planning to rope in Bollywood Diva Katrina Kaif for the lead role. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this from the makers.
If the circulating reports are anything to go by, Katrina will be making a comeback to the South film industry after a long gap of 15 years. Katrina Kaif made her Tollywood debut with Malliswari in 2004 and was last seen in Allari Pidugu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, which was released in 2005.

Even there is a strong buzz that makers have approached Vijay Sethupathi to play a baddie in the movie. Following the huge success of his recent release-Master, the makers decided to approach Sethupathi for the role of an antagonist. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
