The centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi turned extra special when Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a graceful appearance. Dressed in her timeless elegance, she delivered a heartfelt message during the two-day ceremony. But that wasn’t the only highlight- her presence at a musical performance sparked an unforgettable moment for one of the evening’s key artists.

Abby V’s Fanboy Dream Comes True

Indo-Canadian singer Abby V, who performed at the grand event, couldn’t contain his excitement when Aishwarya attended his concert. Later, he shared his joy on Instagram with snapshots of their interaction. Beaming with pride, Abby posed alongside Aishwarya, who looked radiant in a golden salwar suit and even clicked a charming selfie with him.

His playful caption captured the moment perfectly: “So yeah Aishwarya Rai came to my concert & said the kindest things about my music. We bonded over our South Indian roots and my new Tulu song from Kantara. That’s it. I can retire now. Good night." (sic)

The elated singer also mentioned that he chatted with her about his all-time favourite Aishwarya film, teasing fans with a cheeky "Guess which one."

Known formally as Abhishek Venkatachalam, Abby V was among the main performers at the centenary celebration. Reflecting on the electric atmosphere inside the iconic Kulwant Hall, he shared another proud moment: “UNREAL energy performing for 24,000 people (with Aishwarya Rai in the audience) at the iconic Kulwant Hall in Puttaparthi for their 100th birthday celebrations!” (sic)

It was a night of music, magic, and a memory the singer says he’ll carry forever.
