₹648 Crore and Counting: A New Record Holder
With a strong fourth-week opening on Friday, Dhurandhar added a little over ₹15 crore to its tally, taking its net domestic collection to ₹648.50 crore. This staggering figure officially pushes the film past Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which had held the record with ₹640 crore since 2023.
Leaving Blockbusters Behind
Before dethroning Jawan, Dhurandhar had already outpaced several recent heavyweights. The film surpassed the lifetime earnings of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava (₹601 crore) and Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, which closed its run at ₹598 crore.
Eyes Firmly Set on ₹700 Crore
Trade experts believe the film’s momentum is far from slowing down. With steady footfalls even in its fourth week, Dhurandhar is now poised to cross the ₹700 crore mark domestically and could even challenge Pushpa 2: The Rule for the biggest Hindi-language collections in India.
The Elite ₹500 Crore Bollywood Club
Only a select group of Bollywood films have breached the ₹500 crore net mark in India. This exclusive list includes Animal (₹553 crore), Pathaan (₹543 crore), Gadar 2 (₹525 crore), and now Dhurandhar reigning supreme.
Notably, Pathaan was the first Hindi film to enter this club, ending Aamir Khan’s Dangal reign, which stood at ₹387 crore for seven years.

Overall, Pushpa 2 leads all films with ₹1234 crore net collections in India across languages. Meanwhile, Avatar: The Way of Water remains the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India with ₹391 crore.
