New Delhi: After Salman, Aamir and Saif Ali Khan, it is actor Abhay Deol now who has joined the moustache bandwagon for Dibakar Banerjee`s `Shanghai`.

The 35-year-old actor has adopted the look for his negative role in the upcoming film which also stars Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin.

"The moustache is for Dibakar`s film `Shanghai`, a dark comedy about the Indian politics. It is a different movie and required a different look," said Abhay.

Last year, Salman`s moustached look as Chulbul Pandey in `Dabangg` was a hit with the audience. Saif is sporting a moustache in Prakash Jha`s next `Aarakshan` and Aamir is donning it for Reema Katgi`s yet-to-be-titled film.

Touted as a political thriller, `Shanghai` has been adapted from the book called `Z` by Greek novelist Vassilis Vassilikos on the real-life assassination of a dynamic politician.
