UPSC Recruitment 2018: Fresh jobs notification released; hurry up

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Exam 2018.

Interested candidates have to apply before April 16, 2018.

UPSC Recruitment Vacancy Details

Geologist: 24

Qualification: Master degree (Geological Science/ Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geo-Exploration/ equivalent)

Geophysicist: 17

Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics/ Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics)

Chemist: 6

Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry)

Junior Hydrogeologist (Scientist B): 23

Qualification: Master degree (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Marine Geology/ Hydrogeology)

Age Limit

Candidates need to be between 21 to 32 years of as on 01-01-2018 to apply for Post 1 to 3. Similarly, for Post 4, the age limit is 21-35 years as on January 1, 2018.

Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Application Fee

Candidates applying under General category will have to shell out Rs 200. Female candidates along with SC/ST/PwBD are exempted from the fee.

Note: Payment for the same can be done though online or offline mode.
