New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: “We are losing our patience. It has been weeks since we have been on dharna but the government has turned a blind eye to our demands. We will no longer tolerate this and ‘halla bol’ against this arrogant Modi government,” said a protesting student.

SSC CGL job aspirants have been protesting since the beginning of this month alleging question paper leak of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier II.

We have been demanding for a CBI inquiry into the exams as there is a bigger scam behind the entire examination process. However, the government is brazenly ignoring our genuine and just demand

- he added

The students are demanding a CBI probe under a Supreme Court-monitored committee in the alleged alleged SSC scam. Meanwhile, the students have given the Central government a 15-day ultimatum, till March 31, to fulfill their demands.

SSC CGL protest

The SSC aspirants are on protest for the last 18 days at the Staff Selection Commission headquarters at CGO Complex in south Delhi.

The students alleged that the Modi government has no moral rights to remain in power as it has failed to listen to a genuine demand concerning the future of youths of the nation.

We will assemble from all over the country in Delhi on March 31 against the ongoing rampant corruption and irregularities in recruitment process of government jobs and demand resignation of Union Minister (of State for Personnel) Jitendra Singh. We will also gherao the Parliament, if our demands are not met

- said another protesting student.

The students had earlier demanded a stay order on all the SSC exams till a CBI inquiry is announced and it submits its report in a time-bound period.
