Railway Job Alert 2018: More Group C, Group D Vacancies announced

Gorakhpur/Bhubaneswar: Alert railway job aspirants… Indian Railways has come up with more vacancies for you in the Group C and Group D categories. Read on to know detail and apply now to avoid last hour rush.

The North Eastern Railway has released recruitment notification for the positions of Group C and Group D posts in various heads. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions on or before May 31, 2018.

Age Limit

Candidates applying must have attended 18 years of age and must not be above 33 years.

1. Group C – 03 Posts
2. Group D – 08 Posts

Educational Qualification

(i) For Group 'C' posts: For technician-II': Matriculation or its equivalent With ITI in relevant trade (Recognised by SCVT/NCVT) and for other posts: 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case Of SC, ST, Ex. Servicemen Candidates and candidates possessing qualification higher than 12th or its equivalent.

For Group 'D' posts: Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent. (B) Scouting: (a) President Scout/Guide/R0ver/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section, (b) Should have been an active member Of a Scouts Organisation tor the last 05 years. The Certificate ot activeness" should be in the prescribed format which will be made available on the NERIS website. (c) Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railway's Level and two events at State Level.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written examination.
