Railway ASM Recruitment 2018: 50,000 posts to be filled

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways is going to fill its around 50,000 Assistant Station Master (ASM) posts in 2018. The department may even need more candidates to fill ASM posts lying vacant since years, says report. It’s, of course, a good news for students preparing for railway jobs.

Railway Recruitment Board has recently announced in this regard that a notification for the recruitment of ASM will be released soon. It is expected that the notification will be out around mid this year.

The recruitment exam will be conducted online across the country as the Board is mulling to conduct ASM exam online from this year.

RRB ASM Job Details

Interested and eligible candidates can only apply before the deadline. For ASM job, a Degree from any UGC recognized board/university is needed.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the ASM post, need to have attained 18 years of age. The maximum age limit for the post is 32 years.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of prelim and main exams.

After the Railway Board release the notification, visit the regional RRB website and click on the said notification or ‘Announcement’.

Go through the advertisement carefully and keep all the asked details necessary to fill the form.

Fill all the asked details, upload scan copies of education certificates, photo, signature and all.

After filling the form with all the details, submit.

Print and download the online generated form for future references.
