Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment 2017: Apply for Electrician, Turner and other posts

The Kolkata Port Trust has released a notification for the recruitment of Electrician, Machinist, Turner vacancies under Plant & Equipment Division of HDC on contractual basis.

Interested candidates can apply in prescribed application format before December 27, 2017.

Age Limit

Candidates applying should be between 25 to 45 years of age as on November 1, 2017.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination for all posts and possess National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician, Workman’s Permit from the Directorate of Electricity for Electrician post. Similarly for recruitment to other two posts require National Trade Certificate in the trade of Machinist and National Trade Certificate in the trade of Turner with relevant experience respectively.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done purely on the basis of written test.

Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of supporting documents and 2 recent passport size photographs and in an envelope where on the top must be written- “Application for contractual engagement of Electrician/ Machinist/ Turner)” to office of Sr. Dy. Manager (P&IR), Haldia Dock Complex, Jawahar Tower Connector Building, Haldia Township, Purba Medinipur, PIN – 721607.
