The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the application form for engineering entrance exam tomorrow. According to an official, NTA will release the official notification for JEE Main 2020 exams on September 1, following last year's schedule.
Candidates can check the official notification for JEE Main 2020 including registration and other details on the official website- www.jeemain.nic.in.
The candidates would require some documents for registration. Here is the list of the required documents. Candidates need to keep the documents ready so that they will be able to register on time.
Documents Required For NTA JEE Main 2020:
- Self-attested passport-sized photograph with date
- Scanned copy of signature to upload
- Date of birth as mentioned on class 10 certificate and document to prove
- Class 10 and class 12 mark sheet
- Other education qualification certificates
- SC/ST, EWS, PWD or any another reservation certificate, if applicable
JEE or the Joint Entrance Examination is held for admissions to different engineering colleges across the country and it is held as a screening test for the candidates.
NTA will commence the process of the first edition of JEE Main 2020 from January 6 to January 11. The registration process for the January session will close on September 30, 2019. Candidates can download the admit cards online on December 6. The entrance examination results will be declared on January 31, which the candidates can find on the official website.

Till previous year 2018, CBSE- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the JEE Main, however, as per the new regulations, the NTA is conducting the test twice a year. The first session of the entrance test will be in January while the second will be conducted in April. The application process for the second JEE Main exam in April 2020 will begin on February 7 and conclude on March 7, 2020. The entrance examination for the second entrance test will be held from April 3 to April 9, 2020.
