The gateway to gain admission to one of the 23 IITs in the country, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced examination 2019 is scheduled to be conducted in May 19.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, which will conduct the examination next year, has released the exam date on its official website -jeeadv.ac.in.

Interested candidates can apply for the exam by logging into the official website. Meanwhile, The JEE Advanced 2019 exam, which will be conducted in fully computer based test mode, is set to be conducted on May 19, 2019.

To be eligible for JEE main or advanced, a score of at least 75 per cent in Class 12 (Plus II) exam or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required.

A candidate has to qualify JEE (Main) exam and figure in the top rankings among two lakh candidates qualifying the exam as those who qualify JEE (Advanced) may not always get a seat in their choicest branch of engineering in an IIT.

Candidates who are willing to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 for registration are advised to check the official website regularly for National Testing Agency (NTA)  registration details as the application submission process will be opened by the NTA after the announcements of JEE Mains 2019 results.
