ITBP Recruitment 2018 for more than 200 posts: Apply now!

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has released a notification for the recruitment of 241 Constable (Motor Mechanic) & Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) in Group C. The recruitment will however be on temporary basis.

Interested eligible male Indian citizens can apply online from January 9, 2018. The deadline to apply for the post is February 7, 2018.

Age Limit

Candidates applying should be between 18-25 years of age as on February 7, 2018. Age relaxation is admissible by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates while it is 3 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates need to have passed 10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institution, Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute with 3 years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or 03 years diploma in Automobile Engineering to be eligible for Head Constable post.

Similarly, to apply for Constable, candidates need to have passed at least Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution and Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized institution or 3 years experience in respective trade from a recognized firm.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done purely on the basis of PET, PST and written test.

Application Fee

While candidates applying under Unreserved and OBC will have to shell out Rs 100 as exam fee, SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment.
