Hurry up! OPSC Recruitment 2018 for 224 Lecturer posts; Apply now

Bhubaneswar: Candidates, who are yet to apply for the 224 Lecturer posts, notification of which was released by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) last month, must remember that the deadline to apply against the vacancies is February 19 till 11:59 pm.

Candidates who want to be part of the teaching job under the State government must hurry up and apply by Monday.

Age Limit

Candidates applying need to be between 21 to 32 years of age as on August 1, 2018. Age relaxation is admissible as per the rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidates need to have first class Master Degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines for Post-1 to 4, first class in Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Technology in relevant disciplines or equivalent, if the candidates have Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent is required at Bachelors or Masters level in the concerned discipline for Post-5 to 11, 13 to 17. For Post-12, Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology in Textile Technology Branch with First Class or equivalent is required.

Examination Fee/Selection Process

Candidates applying under unreserved and OBC categories will have to shell out Rs 300. However, SC/ ST and person with disability (whose permanent disability is more than 40%) candidates are exempted from exam fee.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written test followed by an interview.
