For the 22nd consecutive year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results. The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which caters to the heterogeneous students’ population and vast geographical network of schools. The Post-Result CBSE counselling began on May 2 and will continue till May 16, 2019 daily from 8 AM to 10 PM on all days.

CBSE Tele-Helpline-2nd Phase

During the 2nd Phase,72 Principals and trained counsellors from within CBSE affiliated schools located in and outside India will provide voluntary and free of cost service on behalf of the Board.

Centralized Toll Free Access in India

Students can dial a toll-free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country which will give centralized access to CBSE helpline. The toll free access will provide two options to callers in the country.

(A) IVRS : for useful tips on dealing with results

(B) Line Connectivity: students will be connected to the principals or counsellors and special educator in case of result related anxiety or stress through tele operators.

Note: The tele helpline will be operational from 8 AM to 10 PM till May 16, 2019 on all days, while IVRS can be accessed anytime anywhere by callers.
