Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: CBSE Board Exams 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly released all the important dates for the class 10 and class 12 board exams to be held in 2020.

With this, the board has already begun its preparations for the CBSE Board Exams 2020. If reports are to believed, CBSE may conduct the practical exams for class 10 and class 12 in December while the main exams will be from February 15, 2020.

The basic date sheet of the board for the CBSE class 10 and class 12 exams 2020 show practical papers will be held in December this year. Meanwhile, the date sheet for the CBSE class 10, 12 likely to be released in November 2019.

NOTE: No official confirmation has been made by CBSE, so far, about conducting the practical examination externally.

Like every year, CBSE will conduct the main exams first followed by the vocational ones. It is reported that the chronology of the subjects for class 10 and class 12 exams will be based on the number of students opting for the different subjects.

Meanwhile, CBSE has asked the schools affiliated to it to not entertain any request for subject change in Class 10 and Class 12 on account of students or parents making their own arrangements to study. It has also framed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for schools to deal with the requests for subject change in class 10 and class 12.

CBSE classes 10 and 12 are a two-year course, hence, schools are expected to counsel students into opting subjects in classes 9 and 11 which they would like to continue in the next class and are available in the school, read the board's release.
