The CBSE Class 10 examination concluded on March 29, and CBSE Class 12 examination ended on April 4... Since then, speculations are rife related to the dates of the release of results of both the exams.

However, putting an end to all these speculations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has strongly dismissed all these rumours and speculations stating that the evaluation process of the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams is on, but the Board has not yet decided anything related to the results dates.

It also advised students not to believe in the news that are making rounds in social media platforms and websites which claimed that the results will be declared after the first week of May i.e. between May 8 and 15, while some said that Class 10 results will be declared in the first week of June.

Expressing concerns over the matter, the CBSE has urged students and parents to not believe in rumours and asked them to wait till the official announcement of the dates by the Board.

“These are nothing but rumours and I requested all the media houses to stop speculating the result date,”CBSE chairman Anita Karwal informed to The Indian Express while dismissing the rumours regarding the results.

She also said that all the officials concerned have been strictly directed not to talk with the media in this regard as the process of evaluation is going on and it is too early to announce the date of CBSE Class 10 and 12 results.

“The date of the declaration of result will be communicated to the media houses, just a day before the declaration of results. As per now, the third week of May (May 12 to 17) is the probable date for declaration of results, but it may change,” added Anita Karwal.
CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi had earlier confirmed that the results will be declared between May 13 and 17.

Normally, CBSE class 10 results are declared by the end of May while class 12 results are usually announced a week before the class 10 results.

It is worth mentioning that CBSE took several steps for smoothly conducting the board exams and also the evaluation process this year.
