Bhubaneswar:  Ahead of the 2020 examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) advised students to follow the sample papers released in September. In a circular, the board clarified that students and schools need to consider Sample question paper and not the blueprint given in the curriculum from the exam point of view.

It is pertinent to mention here that the CBSE had uploaded the curriculum for the 2019-20 on its official website in the month of April. The design and blue print of question papers was also given in the curriculum.

However, some modifications were made in the preparation of sample question papers so as to prepare the students for future challenges.

“It is clarified that the Sample Question Papers for the 2019-20 session were uploaded in the month of September. Therefore the same may not be fully complacent with the design/blue print of the question papers given in the curriculum. Sample papers include modifications introduced by the CBSE,” the board clarified in the circular.

The circular further read, “For 2020 examinations, sample question papers should be taken into consideration and not the design given in the curriculum.”

The design of sample question papers may be used by schools for pre-board examinations to make the students familiar with the changed made by the CBSE so that they do not feel no stress during Board examinations.
