The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 board examination 2019 concluded yesterday while Class 12 exams are yet to be over. However, speculations regarding the dates of the results of both the examinations are rife as general elections are round the corner.

Many sources including some news portals have confirmed the result dates of the two crucial examinations. A media report, quoting CBSE, said that the Class 10 results will be out in the first week of June.

However, according to a report of The Indian Express, the board official termed the reports of CBSE class 10 result date as fake and said that the neither the CBSE or any of its official have confirmed any date yet.

"The board will stick to the result date as mentioned in the official release. The results will be declared by May," a CBSE official said.

“CBSE can announce a result date once the evaluation process including other processes for preparing the results gets completed,” added the official.

Normally, CBSE class 10 results are declared by the end of May while class 12 results are usually announced a week before the class 10 results.

The CBSE Class 10 examination was concluded on March 29 while CBSE Class 12 examination will end on April 4.

It is worth mentioning that CBSE has taken several steps for smoothly conducting the board exams and also the evaluation process this year.
