Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a list of subjects having practical/project/ internal assessment components for class 10th and 12th practical exam 2020.

As per the subject-wise maximum and minimum marks released by the board, a student has to obtain at least 33% in both, theory and practical exam in addition to 33% marks in aggregate in each subject to pass the class 12 exam.

The class 10th students need to score an overall 33% percent marks in each subject , both theory and practicals taken together in order to pass the exam, as per the board guidelines.

As per official sources, the practical exams of both Class 10 and Class 12 students will be held between January 1, 2020 to February 7, 2020.

The praticals, projects and internal assessment will be done by the schools. For the subjects having practical or project component, the same shall be examined by an external examiner which will be appointed by the Board.

However, the practical exam for NCC subject for Class 12 students will be conducted by the examiners appointed by the Directorate of NCC.

In case of Class 10, there will be an internal assessment and no external examiner will be appointed by CBSE or Directorate of NCC.
