AIIMS Fellowship programme: Registration begins today

Bhubaneswar: New Delhi: Online registration for Fellowship programmes at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) begins today. Interested candidates can apply on or before 5 October, 2017 through the official website www.aiimsexams.org.

The online test is scheduled to be conducted on 18 November in Delhi/ NCR and the results can be expected on 5 December.

The test is mandatory for admission into research scholar seats in the departments of Cardiac Anesthesiology, CMET, CTVS, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Deformities, CDER, ENT, Gynaecology, Medical Oncology, Neuro Anesthesiology, Neurology, Neuro-Surgery, Radiology, Surgery and Urology. A total of 45 fellowships are up for grabs.

Initially, candidates will have to appear the online test (Stage-I) which carries a total of 60 with a duration of 60 minutes. Those securing 50 percentile or above will be called for the Stage-II. Number of candidates equal to 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment which carries 40 marks. The final selection will be declared after joint assessment of both the stages of the test.

Selected candidates will be required to join on 15 January 2018 and the last date for admission is 28 February 2018.
