Bhubaneswar: The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar at Xavier University is all set to celebrate its 30 years of grooming business professionals. The prestigious institution is hosting a two-day long event, the Business Excellence Summit, to look back in history and plan its future with its alumni, faculty and present students.
The celebratory event to be hosted on September 22 and 23 aims to bring together alumni from all walks of business to generate ideas for XIMB’s journey in the future.
“XIMB began with 50 students three decades ago and today is one of the most sought after institute in the eastern part of the country. The 30 years celebration is an opportunity to interact, discuss, reflect and collaborate. An interaction between the alumni and the current batch of students and faculty will help us create a vision for the future,” said Subhajyoti Ray, Dean (Academics).

The students too are looking forward to the summit.
“We are excited to learn from our predecessors. This event will help us see where we are today and what we can be in 10 years from now,” said Rahul Patnaik, general secretary of XIMB.
Apart from talks by the distinguished alumni members, there will be sessions of interaction as well as cultural programmes during the two day event.
