Odisha Television Network (OTV)’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing, OTV Cares, has taken up the initiative to make economically backward women self-reliant through free skill development training. The last date for registration is March 10, 2025.

This year’s training is offered on: General Duty Assistance, Front Office Management, Handloom Training – Ikat, Tailoring, Hair & Skin, and Face Make-up.

With the support of OTV Cares, eligible women can unlock opportunities, ignite dreams, and create lasting change.

OTV Cares has been committed to empowering women of Odisha through its Skill Development Programmes year after year. This year, the initiative continues to provide fully funded vocational training, with all expenses covered by OTV Cares, to help women gain valuable skills and unlock new opportunities.

Opportunities never come twice

These courses aim to empower participants from economically weaker sections, helping them towards self-reliance. OTV Cares ensures that all training expenses are covered by it, alleviating financial barriers for those in need.

Previously, OTV Cares has offered various vocational training programmes in the past days to support the economically disadvantaged young women, including courses in tailoring, designing, beautician skills, and data entry.

These efforts are part of a broader mission to promote vocational education and create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. This OTV Cares initiative, which was successfully launched in 2023, has entered its third year.
